    I’m heartbroken to hear this news. I wrote to the parole board a few years ago in a plea to have him released. Justice failed tragically in this case. I’m truly saddened and disgusted by the incompetence of the justice system here. RIP William, you are finally free.

    I agree with Cari. This is heart breaking news and is horrible. I figured that this would happen though. William was never going to be released for the same reason that the LAPD is not going to admit that the Black Dahlia murder was solved for the same reasons in both cases. I am so sorry to hear this. It’s really horrible what they did to William Heirens. I agree with Cari as well, William is finally free. RIP William Heirens.
